Since we do a lot of business with NAPA at work, they help us out quite a bit with personal things, like 10% discounts for personal stuff and things like that. Well the manager of the store is a big bike guy, even if he does ride a chopper, he and I were talking about trickle chargers one day, and I asked how much one of the 10 battery trickly chargers was since we store 4 sportbikes, and a racing talon in one garage, and his reply was $480. Said it was a little rich for my blood since we could buy five chargers at $30 a piece and still come out ahead. He finds me the next day at work and says he has an charger that the AC to DC converter went out on, since that unit was still under warranty they told him to scrap the entire thing. Well he tells me he has an extra converter and I can just have the charger for free. Cha-ching! So now we have an industrial trickle charger capable of charing 10 batteries at once, whats really cool about it, is that it has a logic board inside so that it will not allow overcharging and if for some odd reason it grounds itself out, it will shut-off power to that one lead.

 

Nice. I get lots of NAPA goodies too, my pops is a regional manager down here.
