Default My new ride, maybe

So, I have been feeling sporty lately and I am looking at a few cars(miss my 5.0 mustang). I just posted my bike up for sale, sad I know but I will be getting a 1000rr in the spring. Let me know whatchya think I have narrowed it down to 2 or 3.

2000 Roush stage 2

or the 97' vette

Being a mustang owner, my opinion is biased. But please for the sake of humanity buy the roush stage 2. Or, for that money, buy a 99-01 cobra. They look great, and they're crazy fast for N/A cars cuz of the 32 valves. But if you're looking for speed, 03-04 cobra is the way to go 390 factory rated horsepower. When they're actualy putting down around 425 on average. I'd reccomend a 32 valve V8 mustang anyday. I'm pretty sure the Stage 2 is only 24 valve. They're both 4.6L tho.

I am a mustang fan too, but the vette has a nice look too. Right now I'm leaning towards the roush, cant betray my ford heritage.

if you want flat out straitline preformance then get the roush, but it wont handle like the vett will becuase the vett is a much more balanced car and the ls1 puts out great power. becareful with aftermarket crap on vettes though i would look for an unmoded one.

FORD, FORD, FORD, and did I mention FORD. A Roush Stage 2 is the way to go.

Get the Corvette... you get the power and 28 mpg on the highway... but a 97 is an old fart by now I know the leather in that thing is shredded. Save your cash and get a c5 z06

Like an earlier member said, the '03 Cobra is a VERY fast car. For the money, I would go with it. But if it's just between those 2 cars, go with the Roush. That Vette is just a nasty color of green. And remember, First On Race Day!

yeah vette is an old dude car, the roush looks better. Not a mustang fan myself, but it's better than the vette.
