Default my new bike!

Well it sucks to see my F4i go but I picked up my 2005 CR85 mini motard today! Its already got the 17" wheels with Michelin slicks mounted, big front brake rotor, perfectly tuned suspension front and rear (including geometry), exhaust and some other misc bits and pieces. It was owned and prepared by an ex-AMA pro racer and veteran supermoto racer and has won a LOT of races with the local mini motard org. The two stroke thing is gonna take some time to get used to as well as the carbs; I've got virtually no experience with carbed bikes and I'm already gonna have to change the jets for the colder weather. One other thing I found strange was it not having an electrical system. I never thought about bikes without electric starters not having a battery but it makes sense. I've got a trackday on it in Gulfport, MS sometime in February and a race in March and April so I've got some time to get used to the bike, should be a LOT of fun. I rode the bike for a few minutes in my driveway today (LONG driveway with a full circle and a decent bit of elevation change lol) and so far its a blast

anyway here is a pic of the bike:

Awsome.... CONGRATS on the new bike!!! It looks great!

These things look like sooooo much fun! There's tons of motards up here in GA up in the mountains, and everytime I see them (usually flying by me, lol), it makes me want one even more. They look like a blast to ride!

It's a sweet looking bike, but I don't like the bobed front fendor. It's a Honda so you know we'll all like it.

Don't hurt yourself, Woodrow! You are still our hope for an AMA or Moto GP champion...
