OK. I have a ninja 250 for sale and I posted it on a 250 site. Here's a response I got from someone.


"If it's still for sale I'm interested. I"m near New Orleans so I'd need you to meet me in the middle or so to make the deal feasible."

I delivered a 67 chevy one time, on the condition that the buyer pay for a one trip plane ticket home. It was hot-rod and the drive was testement to being road worthy. Dallas to Atlanta, everything prepaid, the 67 and all expenses. This was before gas prices were ridiculous, hell, at todays prices in that beast I could ship it for half the cost. But the guy was straight up, no hassles, everyone was happy.

 

I live in NY and sold an Acura TL on Ebay, The guy that bought it was in CA
and he sent a truck to pick it up from my house at his own expenses

 

i dont get it?? whats funny about that, people meet halfway all the time.

 

Yea i don't get it either... what wrong with wanting to meet in the middle for deal... I guess you could just keep it for sale and keep waiting, that's the flip side to selling it...

Did you state in your sale thread that buyer must be local pickup or something ?
