My 8 month old daughter was diagnosed with c diff today... while deadly in the elderly, it is not in mild cases with younger children....

its a gastrointestinal infection caused by bacteria...

unfortunately because my daughter is only 8 months old they cannot give her anything medication for it...

it is contracted when a person is put on antibiotics and they immune system is on standby mode letting the medicine work...

she had just gotten done being treated for a ear infection when this happened...

it was most likely contracted at her day care where my wife works...

needless to say im tired of my child being sick from day care every other week, and i now have my wife looking for a different job...

im just glad that with time she will be okay (this infection can last months)

i really wanna just see her smile again vs looking gloomy and sick all the time

 

Give her a few shots of Rum. A good night of drinking always clears my system out

 

c diff does clear out her system thats why its so bad... have to do a good job at keeping her hydrated

well she had a ear infection, and when she went on antibiotics for it, her immune system was down, thats when the cdiff came into effect...
