Some of you may have noticed I haven't been on or posting lately so I thought I would share what I am going thru. My dad got real sick and lost about 50lbs in about 3 months. Then he started having back pains constantly and got were he couldn't eat. Well after 3 ER visits and a visit to a MedNow he was admitted into the hospital. After a CT-Scan, various x-rays, and a biopsy we were told he has non-small cell lung cancer, stage 4. Its believed it started in his back and spread to his hip, lungs, and right shoulder. He is home now and has started radiation treatments and then chemo if he decides to go thru that. No prognosis has been given yet, but after a lil research the long term for him is 5 years at best. So thats what has had my attention and time lately, just thought I'd update yall as some of you wonder and care about some members.

 

Sorry to hear about your Dad, Pg. Hope all works out for him.

PG - man i'm so sorry to hear that. I know nothing anybody can say can really help. But my thoughts and prayers will include you guys.

My girl's dad just found a brain tumor on Friday. We went down Sunday to Atlanta, then went to Duke university today. They're doing the Surgery back down in GA sometime this week. Won't have a prognosis until its removed, but its a scary thing to go through. I'm seeing my lady deal with it.

Man I feel for you bro....I lost my younger brother last year,... now I'm tearing up....sorry man. I hope everything goes well.
