Default My 1st time

Today was my very first trip on the bike by myself. After several laps around the local park where the ground is soft, we moved my lessons to the asphalt. Unfortunately my husband has a big cc bike so it's slow going to learn on but so far I'm havinga blast with it. When I got home I re-doubled my efforts to find the perfect bike for me! LOL

Seriously though, the only major difficulty I had with it is the fact that my legs are too damn short - I have to lean WAYYYYYY to far over to put even one foot on the ground. All in all though, it was the most fun I've had with the motorcycle. I've ridden bitch before and always loved it (did I just say what I think I just said?) but actually riding the bike myself was flat out fun. I can't wait to get my own!

I really intend to go with a 600 hopefully an f4i if I can find one that I can afford. Unfortunately, it is right at the start of the riding season around here and bikes are at their highest prices of the year. I may have to wait until later in the year to purchase my own when the season is ending and people are selling them to get them out of the garage

She did wonderful, didnt drop it once and took off like she was a pro on it, the way she took to it you would think it was HER bike. I had to chase her down and practically knock her off to get my bike back! LOL j/k but really she didnt want to give me bike back though! maybe it wasnt THAT bad but she really wanted to keep riding. LOL we have a couple of videos that maybe we will post later.

So, the two of you are a couple? That is so cool...except Tnx can't take part in the crude male bonding we doon this forum. Anyway, Tx_girl, I don't even know you, but I applaud you for getting in control of the bike instead of continuing to ride on the back. Like others have said, go slow, take your MSF, and look forward to all the amazing experiences you are going to have. My wife rides with me, andthose aresome of our happiest moments (among many). I think 95% (or better), of the males on this forum support female riders...go do your thing!

trust me - when the forum posts that are crude go up, he jokes about what his responses would be and we both got a good laugh out of the how to pick a wifethread :-) he just doesn't post because it is still getting cold here at night and that's a big chance to take hahahahahahahah

not really, if I was insecure enough to let male banter bother me then I have no business being married. If I had wanted something with it's nuts cut off I would have gotten a dog. I like my guy to have some testosterone! LOL

I tip my hat to you! My wife is like that. She has a good sense of humor, and thick skin. It is easy to get offended, but easier to enjoy yourself and have a good laugh once and again...even at your expense from time to time.

around here we like to keep things light and what goes around definitely comes around.. it would be pretty hypocritical of me to crack jokes at the guys expense and then not be able take 'em myself!
