Found this out a few years ago when I recognized the size of the capacitor in a camera I dropped. I've used the capacitor and the battery to zap friends. Still have it. I never considered using the whole camera, but the capacitor will charge by disconnecting it and touching it to the terminals (and holding the flash button till it flashes). It discharges when you touch the top to something (or someone) which will conduct the electric current. It won't take anyone down. Just scare the crap out of them. You can buy much bigger capacitors in electronics stores if you really want to cause damage. That would be pretty stupid IMO, unless you are a bit of a dick by nature, (or just enjoy watching people crap in their pants) [:-]

haha, this brings back fond memories of college for me... i may have shared this before, but whatever i'll say it again because it's funny. My freshman year of college for our first set of big exams, me and a few buddies decided that we are going to study our asses off and ace them which would then hopefully lead to a bit of an easier semester. We were working on integrals for calc class, and anybody who forgot to put "+C" at the end of their equation had to get tazed by our buddies tazer that he bought after being mugged. I only forgot to put that sucker on there once :-)

That's some crazy ****e. I heard about that a few years ago but never saw a need to test it. I don't even like touching a 12V battery to my tongue...
