MP3 help!!
hey guys :-) .. I want to be able to convert some songs on a cd to MP3s .. basically I haven't a clue ... I notice on the CD they are listed as track01.cda track02.cda etc ... I imported cd into itunes and they have been converted to "m4a" now ... so how can I convert them to nice plain old MP3s that I can play in windows media player ..is there some free software to do this or do I have to buy something??

Windows media player will do the same thing, just put in the CD, openWindows MediaPlayerup then Rip the CD.

You just right click the Rip button, go to format, then mp3. Hope that helps

There's also plenty of free software out there to convert any type of audio file to any other audio file type.
