I believe this to be one of the best, all-time single acting performances... I believe that he DID take on the character's persona and that had something to do with his untimely demise...now the question is, who do you get to play the Joker in the next one? Nobody is gonna match that.

Best line: "I'm a magician. Wanna see a pencil disappear?"

The movie was long, but I knew it was going in. I sat in the theater saying "Please don't end, Please don't end" over and over in my head. Great, great movie.

And there is no way that the first one was better than this one.

 

Spiderman 3 sucked donkey *****. What a HUGE disappointment. I should have turned it off and watched the View instead. Its now #1 on my **** Movie List. So is Batman begins.

 

My wife and I recently saw the new Batman movie. I thought "Batman Begins" was the best of the series to date...until I saw "The Dark Knight". I loved the fact that it was a long movie. Every time I though it would wrap, it added another twist, and I was constantly thinking, "How is he going to get out of this one...". That is the way a good serial does it! I heard reviews of Heath Ledger's performance, and was expecting to be dissapointed, but I was just blown away. I am sure he will win the Academy Award for best actor posthumously. Ah haven't seen the new batman movie yet but coming week will be my movie week and I'll be watching all the movies I missed. I have a huge list.

Last movie I watched was Kubrick's 2001 a space odyssey. Very good movie in every detail. Now planning to buy the dvd to add to my collection of classics.

 

street kings was a pretty good rent enjoyed it action packed from the start with some twists i recommend it

Voodoo, I was not aware there were Batman movies before Batman Begins. Hence the title, lol.

I am going this Sunday to see The Dark Knight in IMAX.

 

(Rita Hayworth and) Shawshank Redemption. Hands down the best novel/movie I've ever seen/read.
