I just watched Tron the other day...COOL!!! I would love to see a modern take on that and the improvement in CG would probably be killer. What are some movies you would like to see remade?

 

None! I'm sick of seeing so many remakes coming out latelly. Makes me think that Hollywood is so out of ideas that they are turning to the past to make money. Much like the lack of creativity that has cause this damn reality TV phase.

 

HOLY CRAP....Doesn't tinseltown already put out enough remakes to satisfy you? Can't they just make something new, for once?

Oh and Yeah..TRON would definitely be awesome...There was actually a game about 4 yrs back or so...Tron 2.0 on the PC...it was a really, really good homage to the movie.

I was thinking...maybe Bladerunner...but I liked the original.

 

Obviously, if remakes are pissing everyone off, Hollywood is making the wrong ones.... What about Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit"...hmmmmmm???

 

A classic is timeless for a reason. When they re-did star wars it was terrible. Call me low tech but I liked the muppets and stop motion, not the slick CG work.

 

I like CGI work when you can't tell it's CGI work.

Starwars wasn't completely refilmed...and some changes they added did actually help IMHO. For instance the transparency in the Snowspeeder cockpit was removed. Jabba the Hut, though was a frick'n joke.

Peter Jackson's King Kong has good CGI work and the Hobbit would be nice, just to round out the whole series.

 

Gone With the Wind...remake it with more nudity and a lot more fart jokes...I've always felt the title is pretty misleading. Plus, with teats and farts it might just be watchable!

haha I know Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck pretty much sums up his entire career, but it would be nice to see a remake that actually got the point.
