After reading the book, Hard Impact by Stephen Hunter whick is the book the movie was based off of. the movie Shooter was disappointing, but still a good movie IMHO it would of been much better if they would of followed the story line in the book. Of course, I read the book then watched the movie instead of watching the movie then reading the book so thats why i was so disappointed in shooter.

+1 on Pan's Labrynth. Also good are Blood Diamond, Babel, Breach, and a good gore movie is Saw 3.

A Clockwork Orange is very good...maybe my favorite movie. Also, if you get a chance, drop some acid and watch "Yellow Submarine"...visually stunning!

I don't think you'd need to actually watch yellow submarine if you were tripping.

I just watched Reno 911: Miami, I thought it was pretty funny. I havent seen a lot of movies lately though, but that was good for that type of movie.
