With my motorcycle EZ Pass I pay 1/2 the car toll on the NYS Thruway and less than half on NYC bridges and tunnels. I only get a lousy dollar break on the Holland Tunnel and GW Bridge. So at least I get some break, but not really enough to reflect the reduced congestion and road wear that a bike causes compared to a car.

Yeah I totally agree with this. We can HOV we should have free tolls. Mostly because getting money out and putting gloves off then back on and what have you is a huge pain in the ***.

Especially in the winter, when the winter gloves are thicker.

I've heard of a lot of people having problems with the EZ pass not reading when it's zipped in your jacket pocket. I might as well give it a try next time and just also bring cash in case it doesn't work. It's registered to my car's plate, but I wonder if I can register it to my bike's too.

Speaking of which, I'm not sure if I added the F4i to my account. Hmmmm.

i was having this same conversation today with a friend. Its just inconvenient and slows down the the whole toll lane waiting for a biker to stop, take their gloves off, get the money out, put the gloves back on, etc. Cars pay less than trucks so bikes should pay less than cars at least too, or just nothing. Or you can always do this.....

All my life, I lived in the area that don't have those things. I never experienced it. Paying to drive on the street doesn't appeal to meSorry guys, you have to do this to get to places. I feel sorry for you

Lol at covering the plate. A license plate flipper would work well too!
