Default Motorcycle storage???

Ok. For those who are like me and don't have a garage, what's the best method you have used in regards to storing your bike (generally, inclement weather, and winter)? The best thing I've seen thus far (which I think I will buy unless convinced otherwise) is the Cycle Shell.

Best place is to park it inside your own apartment or house. if you can't do that renting a small storage unit is less then 35 or so bucks a month.

i don't have a garage, so i built a small storage specifically for the bike (security, as much as weather). poured a pad against the house, then built a frame with double hinged doors and lid so it's easy to pull in and out.

That's what I've done with both bikes.

It's in my backyard with a 130lb rottweiler, alarm, and locked 8 foot tall fence.

I have the most faith in the dog.

I live in the 2nd story of an apartment so keeping my bike in the house is a no go. I have 2 massive chains wrapped around a pole holding my bike in place thru the swingarm and the front tire. I used plastic dip to coat alot of the chain and so far i have no damage from the chain.

regener8ed-That is awesome man. When i get a house if i dont have a garage you just supplied my idea. lol

another (cheaper and easy option would be) have a alarm system (even a ebay cheapo will work just make sure u start it every week or so to charge the battery)... put it on stands (to keep the wheels from rotting)... chain your bike tire to something permanent... buy a cheap soft water resistant cover, as well as a large blue tarp... u can chain these to your bike if u want... then set ur alarm..
