Default motor oil??

What kind of oil do you guys use whats the best kind out there?.....
Does the oil you put in depend on the mileage on the bike?
i have a 2000 f4 with just over 12,000 miles i brought a 4stroke valvoline i believe 5w30 or 10w30 but havent put it in yet want to knw if thats a good move or should i consider another one

That and a PureOne filter for a 98 MX-6 (or is it an MX-3) and you're smooth sailing.

edit: This is assuming the F4 uses the same oil filter as an F3, of course. I'm guessing it does, but obviously you'd want to be sure...

I'll stick with the independent tests and the collective knowledge of the motorcycle community, personally.

This question is like asking which canned beverage is the best. You'll get every answer under the sun. That having been said, I also have a 2000 F4. It has 26+k on it. I ride in all types of environments & use factory Honda oil or Repsol.
