MotoGP
I recently began to follow the racing more closely and was plesently surprised. I looked at the track records, I believe it was Meguello, Spain, and the lap times btwn the 250cc and 800cc big boys was somewhere between 3 and 4 seconds, THATS IT. My friend didn't believe me till I showed him the race I taped. Just interesting I thought.on a side note the 125cc were closer to the 20 sec mark diff
3 to 4 seconds gap per lap is a big difference especially when you aproach the straight line; and in Spain GP all the motogp riders will hit more than 300km/h on the straight! I can say you will be trailing nearly a few hundred meters with that kind of gap. By the time the race over, the 250 will be lapped once I guess. [&:]
Thats head to head though. He is just talking lap times and really how close they are. It would be like comparing The Nationwide Series to the Sprint Series. They arent that far apart if at all for being the lesser series.
