Brakes are my first choice, but for lack of the option I chose suspension. My stock suspension with my 150 lb frame has everything I need for the street.

Tires are up there for me also but, as with suspension, a set of stock tires would be everything I'd need them to be on the street...

I'd prefer both but if I could only pick one I'd be ordering up some new rubber.

i've run equal lap times with stock oem tires than i do with my race dot's
problem is the stock tires wont last past a few laps before they get hot and greasy......but i have run equal lap times with both tires
<opening myself up for the "you dont ride fast enough" comment with ^^that statement>

so in my opinion.....stock oem tires are more tires than you need on the street

its funny how many people blame issues/accidents on oem tires....but thats a different topic

dont get me wrong....tires are a strong #2 imo
especially with the fact that set up changes with different tires......so tires and suspension go hand in hand in a lot of peoples eyes

I would have to say exhaust, pc3 or 5 in my case, tires and then after all that dial it in with suspension tweaks or upgrades.

Over the winter I'm planning on redoing most of that stuff to my rc51 so I can become an even better track rider next year.

Depends on your bike and what you're looking for. Your question is to vague.

Ok, I am not one for saying +1 or a + a gazillion but jolly good post babes, the rider is the discerning factor ...stick someone who knows what they are doing on an old F1 and me on my new RR and my money is on the F1 everytime :-)

Jules

Ps but I do love the huge extra thrust of my RR, got to get that in ..lol
