Weird, The houses are different colors in the first 2 pics and there is definetly a big sail boat missing in the second one... would love to see how they pulled that one off...
If you look very carefully you will see the houses are in fact the same colour on both pictures ... it's just that my second one which was obviously a different evening (within a week) the sun is shining on the buildings and this can wash out the colours on the camera sensor quite considerably ... I usually holiday there for a week at a time and take a lot of pictures .. I don't mind the jokes about them being faked though ..lol ..I am the only one who knows they are real for sure ;-)

Promontory? WTF is that? Did you make that word up? It makes no difference...if there is vodka in a promontory then I am going.
Tommy ...it's just a fake word to go with my fake pictures ..lol

–noun, plural -ries. 1.a high point of land or rock projecting into the sea or other water beyond the line of coast; a headland.

Now I am just off to get some sea water .. some sand and a big torch because I want to make up this great picture I have in mind of the sun over South Beach ..lol

Yes, very astute, however, I thought of that, and have come up with a solution:

^^^ ...you can't tell me you didn't love this movie...
Now I feel stupid...I consider myself one the great possessors of useless knowledge and inane trivia, but this isn't ringings ang bells in my fat clogged up head.

A little clue? or better yet, just tell me what movie it is from.

Yes. Excellent recall. Apparently it's on DVD (all the way from 1981)...I must look for it and re-live some of the coolest gadgets and steely-eyed bad guys ever shown on film:
