The high today was 42 in Grants Pass, but the sun was out...I went for two rides today. Once to the video store, and the second time to the grocery store for some beer to go with my football playoffs. I was a cold somana bitch, but it felt so good to be on the bike.

Was about 39 tonight riding home from work. Brisk, but it was very dry, so it didn't feel as cold as it was.

I hate it when it's cold AND very moist outside. That kind of cold makes parts of you dissapear for a couple hours.

Sunday morning it's 5 degree's [:@] 0 when I got up at 7:00, the plumbers around here are making bank with all the frozen pipe's, just talked to a buddie from work he called a plumber that does biz with the city and had him come to his house cuz he had some frozen pipes, the plumber hooks up an electrical gizmo like a mig welder to the pipes and defrost them in like 10 seconds, $200.00 a pop !!!!for these little service calls he cut my buddie some slack ( did not charge him for the call )and told him to help him out on a couple of calls, help carry the machine that defrost the pipes, guess it weighs like 60 lbs, the plumber told him the thing was gittin heavy from all the calls he's makin [8D]

it is 24 here in south texas. 100% chance of rain today, and 75% chance of snow. it has not snowed here since 1985! been raining all weekend too, i hate the cold, but not as much as the cold and rain.

That's funny I was in SanAntonio when it snowed last (basic training) they closed the base and we got the day off kinda.

We started out camping/dirt bike ridingthis week end in the high desert (Jonhson Vally) and we came back early because the camper heater could not keep up low was 15 and mid day was 33............stupid weather.
