well me and a friend were talking about this a bout a week ago.. and his dad knows what he is talking about and said something about it's the original motor.. if i remember right but who knows for sure.. seems hard to believe.. i am not one to be scared off by miles because the condition is a reflection of how u took care of the thing not how many times the wheel went in a damn circle.. but there was another case of this regarding a saturn.. it was a women who got one of the first year saturns and she went a million miles.. they traded her for a brand new saturn.. and they took her old one..

DThompson, I don't want to be a jerk or anything, but to suggest something like that, you better back it up with a source if you want anyone to think you're NOT retarded.

I dont have any solid stuff to say but I like to mess with Chevy guys about it because it makes them mad.

ok so the matrix and vibe look the same
what about the corolla and geo prism from the mid 90s?
i guess they've been working this deal for a dozen years then
almost all manufacturers have done things like that in the past and i'm sure will continue to do so until we're all dead and gone

But they sure as hell don't share earnings...GM just posted the biggest loss in their history as a company ($39B), while Toyota continues to profit $16B on earnings of $263B...
GM is buying out it's unionized workers, replacing them with lower-wage employees...

See what happens when you care more about the customer than how many 'units' you sell?
