OK..roll call....who is goin to Mid Ohio next weekend...
Im driving from Illinois with my 5year old to take him to a race and he is soooo stoked.....i know that there was a short list goin around of people who were goin....ill be there on Saturday only so if any of ya'll that are goin wanna share a picture or lunch....drop me a pm or something...lets hope we have good weather and that Ben Spies calls in sick...LOL...

Be there all weekend long....it's Honda Super Cycle Weekend at Mid-Ohio....

 

What are you going to do with a guy that is 1-2 seconds ahead after the first lap?!?!? At Laguna Seca, he was 1.5seconds ahead (approx)after the first lap, 3 after the second, and 4 after the third. He stayed about four seconds ahead after that...what a maniac!

I was at Mid Ohio last friday for the American LeMans practice day. We sat on the hill just beyond the 180* turn. Watched one of the Audi R10's spin and nearly take out traffic being a moron. Later on, one of the Highcroft Acura LMP2 cars rammed a GT2 Ferrari. That was interesting. The boys were being a little aggressive. I saw quite a few fists shaking. Bikes on that track should be a killer show. Bring sun screen. I got in a fight with the sun and lost b/c I'm a moron.

 

I have tickets for the weekend... just hope I still get to make it.

 

Damn, if we only had a way to recognize cbrforum members at events likethat.
