have any of you used the michelin pilot power tires? my father went to jennings monday with just scrubbing in new pilot powers. while he was there he was told by several people that after a day of hard riding that they would get greasy. dad took that into concideration. he went about 3 decent paced laps, then bam the front just slid out from under him in a fairly slow corner. no warning no nothing. hes in good shape. his rc51 is beat up a little but all in all not too bad. the first pic was taken literally a half second before he washed out.

I haven't gone to the track (yet), but I love mine for regular canyon carving and so forth. Glad your Dad is okay!

In the pics they do look rather slick. I'm still a FIRM believer in sand papering your tires before you ride hard on them. Just an extra precaution to get the slippery off them.
