Just finished writing out the last of the Christmas cards, so its that bloody time of the year again. And as many of you will be busily going off to do wot ever you guys do at Chrissie time.
I have the usual ungrateful hoards of family freeloaders arriving on the big day, plus the rounds of 'drinks' with various friends leading up to New Years.
I'm not going to far away, so I'll be on & off here as usual. So Merry Christmas ya cahns & be safe.

Happy Holidays. My wife and I are alone this Christmas and we've been invited to dinner at the Pho place. They are really cool people and it has a real family feel to it when we're there.

 

Man, your into the Pho huh? I like it as much as the next guy but don't ever sit there and think..."man I could really go for some Pho right now..." I had never had sushi, sashimi or Pho until I got stationed on the west coast and half of my shop was filipino and viatnamise (sp?) but now I'm a sushi adict, I tear that **** up, and because I couldn't get enough of it I bought all the stuff and signed up for a class on how to make it, now I turn out some killer rolls and my whole family loves sushi, I make it every chance I get. Pho, yea I dig it. It's good and all, but I don't have the passion for it. It kinda neat being military and meeting all sorts of people from all around the world and in different duty stations and being introduced to wonderful cuisines that one might not ever be subject to.

 

Merry Christmas one and all. Ill try not to get spooked and shoot santa before he can make his way south. I hope you all get a little of what you want out of the holday season.
