keep it in a higher gear, dont rev past the point where your second set of injectors kick in (should be around 6 grand I think... anybody) other than that you could tune it with a pcIII

You can try the redbull can trick, I heard It adds about 10 MPG, haha J/K. I found a few results that may or may not help you in your daily drive to assist in better gas milage;
1: Check your tire pressure. If it's low, Add air to bring tires to recommended pressure. Do not over inflate.
2: Check Air filter. If it's dirty or old, Replace it.
3: Ride calmly. Avoid unnescessary acclearation and breaking.
4: Plan more efficieat routes.
5: Keep up the maintenance of your bike.

Always ride downhill.

How many MPG are you getting now? I am around 48, never below 45. I've read about people only getting in the low 30s. Maybe you can try synthetic oil, but the cost may outweigh the very few MPG you will gain.

As far as the PCIII, I believe they tend to be tuned for power, not economy. I think our bike are already leaned out as much as possible. If you do get a PCIII, it kinda defeats the purpose of saving $$$$ anyway. You can buy alot of gas for $300 plus tuning.

I would say try not to think about it and the next thing you know youll enjoy riding.Its a 5 gallon tank max...ya want fuel economy on a bike step up to a cruiser with a bigger tank...i mean cmon...i could care less how much fuel my bike eats...its costs money to go anywhere..you could always ride the posted speed limit and ride in the slow lane....
