Default Marine Funeral Protest

So watching the news about 5 minutes ago, I see that the Supreme Court will do nothing about these people protesting at dead service members' funerals. This **** angers me, I am on the Funeral Team for my Division (CASCOM-Combined Arms Support Command) as well as the Color Guard. Ive done funerals for old vets and active servicemen. This is completely ridiculous! I am so glad that I have not experienced anybody protesting outside of the funeral details. We were pissed one time when the funeral director just threw the flag on top of a deceased service members casket during transport from the church to the grave site. We were ready to get violent, I can only imagine my reaction or my teammates reactions if we went through this. I take that **** serious, and making one slight mistake during a funeral is unacceptable...... What the F*CK is wrong with these people.....

this is F**Ked up but as they do have the right of free speech, they can do that. im sure if someone beats them with a baseball bat , it would be invisible to authorities.

it is highly disrespectful and there should be consequences to those anti war F**Ks.
take your happy A$$ somewhere else to wave your sticks around.

as a Marine i know what it means for the ceremony to be just PERFECT. as it should be. its the last thing that the man or a women will receive for giving their life for all of us.

they should know that protests will not do anything, if something it will make people mad. war is in human nature since beginning of time. we have satan to thank for that, he was the first one to start war with God, but thats not here nor there.

they should be at least thrown out of the cemetery.

i just cant believe it.

Last thing i want my wife to go thru if i die is these idiots. They should respect the ones who give them the right to yell their bull****. If i ever see these protestors outside a military funeral i have no problem getting in a face. Im sure my commander wouldnt mind. Sadly i think these people feed off the attention. Maybe if we just ignore them they will go away. Or use our trusty rifles to clean up the streets(not to be taken seriously)

How do these people find out about the funerals? There was a marine who passed away a while back and he was near my home town and They did not disclose the gravesite on tv... I am glad they didnt. This is very upsetting.

These yahoos found the absolute line between "free speech" and yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater. It's like that old quote goes: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

These guys have all my respect. And if they're around in PA again, I'll help them out.

Also, it seems that the local American Legion post has formed a motorcycle club, too. They like to escort the moving Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall.

And they don't complain if I ride along on my yellow/purple/white CBR F3.

speech is not free , it is paid for with the very lives they are protesting ... these people spit in the face of the very same soldiers family that lost a father ,mother , son , or daughter that was fighting for their freedoms ... theres a special little place in hell for these a$$clowns

Its complete bullsh!t! I wake up to see a "muslim extremest" shoot 2 service members dead and 2 wounded in a German airport. The airport had beefed their security up, but I guess they forgot to check their employees! My wife gets mad when I talk about how I dont care for muslims and hate muslim extremest.....Her uncle being a "Mike Tyson" muslim (prison.....). Blaim my feelings for muslim based on my recent deployments

Thought Id post this as well!

SIGN IN A BUSINESS WINDOW, HERE IN ST. LOUIS, MO. !!!!

"WE WOULD RATHER
DO BUSINESS WITH
1000 AL QAIDA TERRORISTS
THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER!"
This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in St. Louis , MO. and you are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory sign.

However, we are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps one of our greatest liberties.

And after all, it is only a sign, right?

You may ask : "What kind of business would dare post such a sign?"

Answer: A Funeral Home
(Who said morticians had no sense of humor?)

You gotta love it!!!
God Bless The United States , and keep our Troops Safe and Well.
