Lot better than Survivor.

werd its a dope show. I don't care if that **** is staged or not, he's still eating grubs, snakes, jumping in ice cold water, etc etc.

 

I watch it all the time .. what I read didn't say it was fake, just said a couple of times he's been known to stay at a motel overnight and get back to it the next morning ... Discovery said everything else shown is real but for entertainment purposes they needed the star fresh .. either way I still find the show informative and entertaining. They claim they will put full disclosure on future episodes.

one comment I read was hilarious:

"So he stayed at a Motel 6 a couple of times. Big f'in deal ... as far as I'm concerned staying at Motel 6 is roughing it just as much as half the stuff he does on that show."

Bear Grylls drinks his own urine and eats all kinds of poo .. anyone that does all that can stay in a motel as far as I'm concerned .. oh, and drinks turtle blood too

 

this is the best show on TV .... period. I HATE SURVIVORMAN. I wish that canadian bastard would actually die out there. I'd much rather have a camera crew anyway it looks better.

 

i love Man vs Wild. honestly, if he didn't stay at a Motel 6 every now and then he'd probably have died of thirst and/or hunger on one of the shows. it's not always possible to make it out of every one of those situations alive. i can't imagine doing some of the things he does to survive, but i guess if your life depends on it, and you really want to live, you'll do it. like squeezing fresh sh*t to get the water out of it...

 

I always imagine the camera man munchin on Twinkiesand sippin on a giant Slurpee while filming someone drinking elephant dung juice. [:'(]

 

Just watched that Conan clip -- I'm gonna have to check out this show!

 

I found it funny when he was in the rockies and got scared $hitless of bears. Running away in the middle of the night and freaking out when he sees a bear track.I'm hoping it was all an act, otherwise I lost some respect forhim. Other than that pretty dang good show.It would be fun as hell to have his job.

 

I would be scared of bears too, if I were out there with a little folding knife and not much else. Bears are not friendly and fuzzy. [sm=outcold.gif]

I like both Man vs. Wild and Survivorman. Bear is certainly the better showman, though.

 

Guys I hate to break the news, but I think I found the best evidence I've seen thus far that the show is fake...

watch it all the way through. i'm just sharing becuase if you believe in bear like I believed in bear, you need to see this.
