Default Make a Wish Foundation

I am typing this from my HTC so don't mind any spelling mistakes.

I heard today that the Make A Wish Foundation is expected to file for bankruptcy because of a child with lucemias wish for unlimited wishes that MUST be fufilled. Apparently he "never wants the wishes to end" but fails to realize it's at the unfortunate cost of others.

Some of the things he has asked for:

- F-18 tomcat decomissioned from iraq and brought to him.
- face chizzled into mt.rushmore
- hot dog lunches with celebrities and sports stars. etc etc etc(literally the list goes on for miles)

Apparently they have to fufill EVERYTHING he asks for and they are bound by laws that say they must grant his wishes.
The Make A Wish Foundation had brought in a probono attorney team to fight it but the kid wished them away and they had to leave.

Literally the only hope this charity has is if the kid dies soon or they get a major burst in donations.

My work sells little fish made by gunebo(sp?) for $5.99 all proceeds go to make a Wish Foundation so i'm gonna pick up a few to try and help out. Try and make any donations you guys can to help as well.

It's a charity... I dont see why they'd have any legal obligations to that kid..

and did anyone notice that at the end of that news clip they said the best scenario is that he dies soon... Thats not something you would say about someone who is actually dying

The Onion is awesome.... as long as you don't actually think what they're saying is real.
