That was the first hockey game I watched in a long time, well I watched most of OT before passing out and I missed the winning goal, but it was very entertaining to me, what I did see. The Pens goalie was nice, 50 something saves...amazing, that kick save he had late in the game was awesome!!

I will watch game 6, I think, and I hope the Pens win!!

Man, I was so tired by the end of the game that I didn't even realize they scored for a minute. And honestly, at that point, I was just glad the game was over. Would have been nice for the Wings to win at home though. Can't say they didn't try with 50+ SOG.

Well...being a Leaf fan...I've taken my fair share of hits...even on the ice. And i would love to see the Pens take it, but Detroit, even though they lost are still the better team. Fleury, kept thePens alive-BIG TIME!
Reminds me of the 83 Oilers who got swept in 4 bythe Islanders and we all know what happened the next 4 years.

A little arctic birdie told me this series will go down as one of the most amazing catch-up victories of all time.

The funny thing is I never watch the NHL, really. Last weekend I caught Game 3 and could not believe how literally kick-*** it was. Used to follow NFL and a little NBA but the billions in salaries and drugs shoved me right out the door. My TV has been exclusively motorsports-locked since 1992 (no stock cars, okthnxbye)--but holy frozen puck, hockey is the ****.

Yeah, thanks to an aggressive campaign featuring young talent like Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin, the NHL is starting to make a comeback. And why shouldn't it? In my humble opinion, it's the greatest sport played by the greatest athletes. Let's see a baseball player take a line drive to the nose and come back 10 minutes later like Ryan Malone did last night after taking that puck to the face. Let's see 2 football players fist fight and then shake hands like gentlemen at the end of a playoff game like they do in the NHL playoffs. I think it's people's lack of ability to follow the game that dissuades them from it, but if more people attended hockey games, I think they would develope a passion for it like I did in high school. I became a lifelong fan after attending the 2001 playoffs where Pittsburgh bowed out to the Devils in the Conference Finals. I have faint memories of the last time the Penguins hoisted the cup...I used to be more into the video games back then. The strikes certainly didn't help out with the hockey fanbase, but it sucks that such a great game is so blasted and ignored by major media outlets like ESPN...it really pissed me off when I was watching Pardon the Interruption right before the playoffs and the hosts asked the question, what will be more exciting, the NHL Playoffs or figure skating championships. F*** them.

Give me back the old NHL in a heart beat. However, the above mentioned Crosby, Ovechkin are more artists than they are athletes.

I've played many sports at a high level, but hockey has been the hardest to master-by far. So, if you played you can really appreciate what these guys over.

Coming down the ice, moving laterally, with your head up, so you wont take a hit, then shoot a slapshot and put in the topshelf...is no easy feat.

I know thay have a lot of work to do but the winning record at home this season and the post season I think it will go to game 7 and be another OT game.
