Default looks like no RR for a bit

my buddy called me today and told me that my engine cover STILL wont fit. he had the inside machined just a bit to try and help everything line up, but still no luck. its what i ordered......a '08 CBR 600RR right side engine cover, but its a hair to big and nothing is lining up.

so i called the place i bought it from and looks like im ****ed out of $140 for it. they said since it has been opened and attempted to be installed, they couldnt replace it. i told them "how am i supposed to know if its the correct cover or not or if it fits correctly if i dont TRY to install it......". after a silent speechless moment........she stuttered and just told me that more than likely they will not replace it. so im ****ed and dont have the dough for a new one. they told me i can send it back and they'll take a look but no guarentees...

looks like i'll be rocking my g/f's F4i for a bit..........im gonna go get a box of tissues.

theres no gasket, its like a seal type stuff you have to apply, Spirit. but it IS infact the engine cover for my bike, but for some reason things arent lining up correctly.

I dont care what you say lol, its the wrong cover. If you ordered one for a 600RR, and they sent you, say, a 1000RR cover, they have to replace it. Check part numbers. The Carolina Cycle place has the right cover for $118...

And I swear to god the parts fiche shows engine cover gaskets...lol
