Default Looking to get a camera, ideas?

Alright, here's my problem. I'd like to pick up a cheap video camera to film while on my bike. Thing is though, I just don't want to film in front of my bike, I want to be able to mount it all over. Any mounting ideas? I was thinking suction cup, or some kind of clamp based one.

I was thinking about going with a cheap, flash based memory camera because if it falls and bites it while I'm riding, I don't want to miss it. Plus, the flash based will hold up well with the vibrations.

Second thing is I'd like the same, or another mount, to be able to mount my DSLR. That however, I've spent some money on, so it won't leave my tank, and i'll only take it off when I'm not moving. (Just a convenience thing).

I wasn't sure where it should go. lol. Plus I figure since I DO have an f4i, and it's the most active section I'd try here. *Moved*

My girlfriend is in to filming and on board stuff. I bought her a gopro HD last year for Christmas and she loves it.

Its a great camera. Can range from just high quality to just stupid beautiful HD. Several wide angle settings allow for an awesome range of video capture which is great for something mounted in a fixed location. I'd definitely recommend it.

Check out here videos to get an idea of all the different stuff that camera can do. We've used it on our CBR's, our quads, various boats, and even on a model airplane for ariel video. The audo isn't perfect but given the cameras capabilities its a more than acceptable compromise.

Oh, I forgot to mention. One of the best thing is the variety of mounting options for the gopro. They make a variety of adhesive mounting points that the camera clips into. The points are small and unobtrusive so you don't really mind them being on your bike or helmet. They also make various bar mounts, head mounts, suction cup mounts, etc. The motorsports version comes with a suction cup mount that works well for a gas tank location and a bunch of adhesive clip mounts that we've put on the bikes and helmets. There are also a lot of adjustable arms you can opt to use to level the camera view however you want.

I also hear great things about the GoPro Hero HD. I think that's what I'd be going with.

Twenty20 is wireless with a 1080p camera for the same price as go pro hd. Just throwing it out there.
