so this is the story my local news station ran last night, what a crock, a bunch of people e-mailed the station about it and his only response was that " we did not sall all riders were reckless" when clearly if you listen he says that "crotch riders" are the reckless ones, which implys that anyone on a crotch rocket is reckless [sm=headbang.gif] its really irritating, and all of the clips are just random youtube videos, 1/2 of which arent even being reckless

They really need to learn to communicate the truth better.

 

The bottom line is that you never see a cruiser doing wheelies or burnouts everywhere they go. I'm not saying you or anyone you ride with does, I'm just saying - the type of people doing this stuff aren't doing it on cruisers.

While I can see your frustration, I have to play devils advocate and say that not only am I not surprised, but I can certainly understand that that news clip absolutely sums up what is most likely the majority of public opinion.

Are you really surprised? How big is your city?

^^^ my thought exactly...crotch riders!!! HA HA HA HA!!! there is one plus side to this story...it does remind the cagers to "WATCH OUT" for us (which they should be doing n e ways). its funny that they make it out like the bikes r the ones that cause ALL the wrecks when in reality much of the time its the cagers fault...

 

Things in this video that make me laugh:

3) Half the video examples of these so-called daredevils were cute girls going 3 MPH.

and along with the story...thats stupid they try to make us all look bad, you could even tell the cop wasnt against all sport bike riders and the reporter was trying to make him sound that way

 

Come on though, the video showed all you-tube videos. When they would show local video nobody was doing anything wrong. Just another way to single out a particular bike, even though all bikes are hard to see if your not looking.

 

why didnt they show youtube videos of people riding responsibly...those are on there too.


but i bet they were too hard for the reporter to find!
