I listen to them when I work out. I made my own remix with a bunch of songs that I like to work out with. Pretty dope...

+1 ..........probably the only rap that can actually stand. He doesn't talk about Cadillacs on 22's or any s**t like that.......the lyrics are actually well thought out, not written down with a "uh, yeah" every other word.

Same goes for Linkin Park.........listen to the lyrics, and they're quite cleaver.

 

Also, just wondering.

For all of you who HATE linkin park...........why? All I ever hear is "I hate them"........but I never hear a reason why?

Hey Fox, you forgot they like to talk about shooting people, selling crack, degrading women among other things. The ONLY time I'll listen to rap is if I'm forced to, lol, like if the girl I'm with likes it, well, you have to keep the women happy, but I'll turn it off after 5 minutes or so, lol. Yeah, I agree, when they did that whole shabang with JayZ, that was a total f**kup. Hopefully the rest of the songs on their new album is as good as the "new" one that's out now.

 

JayZ said it right a few years back.. HipHop has lost its class and talent.

Linkin park has rock and rap mixed together, and the lyrics speak of realistic stories or examples.

well i dont HATE them, its justnot really my type of music. linkin park sounds too pre-fab and poppish to me. i dont like the sound of the new pop rock, boy band w/ guitar sound that the music industry has been pumping out lately (every band that has ever been called emo, or punk by mtv in the past 7 years), its really popular with the teenage private school crowd, as is 50 cent and other clowns, but i like my rock to be a little more ragged, minimalist, underground. ive always been really into local music, its just more "real".

that being said, i dont really dislike them, i think they sound ok, i just never got into it.

 

linkin park blows.

every song sounds the same, they put out 1 album and re-did twice. what the **** is that? thats not creative, thats lack of originality.
