Motorcycle Driver Killed by Lightning Strike

Quebec Provincial Police are continuing their investigation after a motorcyclist was struck by lightning late Thursday afternoon. Officers say the 32-year-old man was heading west on Highway 50 near Boulevard de l'Aeroport when a lightning bolt hit him. Witnesses say the man was tossed from the motorcycle onto the road median. The victim had no pulse when paramedics arrived on scene. He was brought to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
