Too risky if you ask me. There's always that chance that something could happen!!!

500 dollars in taxes to get plates?..im lost here B..when u bought the bike the price of registration and title should of been included unless it was a private sale.U wont be able to get a temp plate from anywhere but a currency exchange or a DMV and now u have to bring the plate back(temp) before u can get your metal plates. So u cant pass the plate around. So im thinkin your just gonna have to eat the 500 to ride legally.Riding illegally could hurt.No valid registration will get your new bike towed on the spot and then impounded.I know its worth the risk...ive been there..and its not...it wil cost more than 500 dollars to get everything right after something like that happens.I used to say...O i wont get caught....do it right the first time and you will enjoy riding a whole lot more. Not to mention being able to fully concentrate on the road hazards and not having to worry about getting pinched everytime your out.
