Ok i figured i would be the first to ask and get ripped on but what are you people looking for ? The Wear in the middle of the tire ?
what's unused on the tire towards the edge. more lean=more tire used. i don't have any pics but got about 1/2 inch left

I traded my SuzukiSamurai for my bike at the end of the season last year and it is very obvious that he was a chicken because I need to replace the tire for this year. They are completly bald straight down the middle and have all kinds of tread on the sides.

Allow me to go on a soapbox....

[soapbox]
FWIW, chicken strips (or lack thereof) don't mean ****!!! If you had good body position, you'd have less lean angle and, hence, more chicken strips. Which means that you'd need more speed to get rid of them. The only place you can really safely ride to get rid of the strips is the track. The only way you're going to do it on the streets is to be a danger to the public or have the worlds most butt-ugly body position.

abadfish, is that what is reffered to as "cold tearing" when the outer edges of the tire peel back as opposed to getting worn?

No. There are no tears in my tires. The roughness you see is what was once liquidy molten rubber that has since solidified when the tire cooled. Cold tears are actual tears.

Abadfish forget the track you should see the size of my backyard, it makes Road America look small.

Well I'd Lean it more, but my pegs already hit and I have ground down the feelers twice. So now when it hits I lift my foot off to get it more over. Only so much tire you can use though. Gotta love those pilot sports...
