Default Less mods...?

I was thinking the other day... with all the talk of spending lotsa money to shave a couple pounds off the bike... why dont people just lose weight? People wouldnt have to spend all that cash and it'll save on medical bills that are weight related in the future (if ur obese). Of course this doesnt apply to scrwannyyy guys who weigh a buck fifty at 6 feet or so or to the super buff guys but to those who got a beer belly that they dont really need...

I've never worried about modifying my bikes (apart from doing stuff to it to carry my gear or paint protection, seat cover..) I've always figured that most peoples reasons for doing up their machines to personal taste., But spending a lot to try & squeeze a few more ponies would/could be better spent of a newer/bigger bike.
Besides, I've invested more money on my beer gut..................

On the other hand, I'm also 5'10" and 150 lbs... so I'm not exactly in a position to lose any weight.. I must be drinking too much light beer..

That's my frame too. The dollars I save not trying to fit one more pony on the ranch goes to my steak budget. I'm trying to gain a few pounds (failing so far but really well fed)

Agreed. Some people should lose weight. I let my step dad sit on my bike and to me (a 6'2'' 135lb guy) my suspension is great. To my (250+lb 5'9'') step father the bike almost bottomed out. HE had the nerve tell me i should adjust the suspension so it rides a little firmer.

Yay! Officially weighed at 154 lbs at work (they have to make sure we're not too heavy for our ladders). I gained 4 lbs!
