Which foot is on the ground at a light and which one is first to hit the pegs?

Since this board has gotten so technical with terminology lately, just wanted to point out that the latter part of your question is redundant ... whichever foot is off the peg, the other will obviously hit the peg first [8D]
I always come to a complete stop with my left foot on the ground, holding the right foot brake the entire time. Once I am stopped and balanced I put both feet down.

Left is first to hit ground, always keep the brake covered as long as I can; first one up is right, once again for the sake of braking.

Most of the time, left as per MSF and Cali Superbike Training.. Sometimes right depending on the way I stop or at certain intersections. I will be honest that it's more comfortable with right since that is the stronger leg for most people, including me.

Yer , it depends on where you are pulling up and how long you think you will be stopped for..
Always just one foot though ... (unless the misses is on board and moving around behind me) then its the two foot scaffold position

If at lights that are nearly ready to change ....right foot , so that the gears are ready willing and able for the next launch

If you are stopping to park or because of a hold up in traffic ... left foot so as to hold the brake with e right ...
