Most leather jackets have a widows peak at the back, but all will usually have the back so it sits lower. Also a lot of jackets have a zipper on a rectangular flap at the back inside the jacket (about 8 inches wide), which will correspond to a zipper on the back of the pants so you can zip the 2 together.
I have a Bikers Club jacket & a pair of Stagg pants & they have it. My All Weather pants & jacket have the same set up. Easy to use, only gets annoying when you forget to undo the zip before trying to take the jacket off.

I don't have a bike yet but I need to factor the cost of gear in as well since I'm on a tight budget. The bike I really want is an CBR600F2. I've seen a few but all have been scruffy or smokey. Since winter is around the corner I may as well now take my time and look during the cold months for a bargain. Crazy girl found a fantastic one for £500. But I think she got lucky, the ones I see for even a £1000 I don't want to own.

Take your time & you may get lucky & pick up a bargain & winter is definitely the time to look. Should be a few around, according to one bike publication I have, the F2 & F3's where one of the most popular bikes ever sold in the UK.
At the same time, check out 2nd hand bike gear in the papers, ebay & pawn shops (not for helmets though, new only) As the people getting rid of their bikes, sell their gear on as well & leather if looked after, lasts many years.
Wish you well

I remember seeing many a few years ago. Now that I'm looking they're all hiding somewhere. I did think about second hand gear and my boyfriend said definitely no to the helmet because you won't know it's history. Be good if I could pick up some cheap leathers though, thanks!

i have a leather jacket but dont use it much i prefer the textile more movement so i have textile trousers and jacket that zip together at the back and they both have lining that you can take out in summer months so i use the same for both i think the make of mine are frank thomas best fitting i could find, was having trouble finding jackets that fit properly because i have rather large ***** so getting a jacket to fit round there and also fit everywhere else was hard, i think for both trousers and jacket it was around £250- £300 on the other subject Jenna when i was looking at the bike i got there was another one at york for £700 it had non standard paint think it was camel colours yellow and purple i think it was ok looking on pictures but never went to look at it i will see if i can dig out his number for you
