I've tried to respond to this twice today so here I go again, third times a charm.
I'm a motor officer and I feel that being brave has nothing to do with me posting. I've posted several times in the past and stated that I was a cop. I feel that its nothing to be ashamed of but proud of. I don't feel that I'm better then anyone here because of my job, although I may have different beliefs. Me being a cop, in my oponion, doesn't make me any better or worse then anyone who posts in here.
I'm a motor officer in a small beachside town, yes my job is horrible working right on the beach pitty me lol. I write many tickets and most are understanding. Of course I get a few people who hate cops but you can never make everyone happy. I stop a lot of people that ride and most are understanding. Some feel that no matter what I'm always wrong.
I'm proud of what I do. I can retire at 42 with 20 years and maybe I'll start another career. Who knows.
Cops are needed who else are firefighters going to look up to lol just kidding.

word up man! I will be retiring at around age 45...we have to do 20 years OR age 45. so, I will have 24 years at age 45. I'll atleast go for 25 years..haha.

Been in Corrections/transport for 5 years, love it hope to achieve my PO license in about a year or so. The jail is fun but id perfer to be on the street. I ride along with some of my buddies who are on patrol and you never know what your gonna get. in the jail is the same crap everyday

Started in LE in 1975...all admin now, workin I.T. Was a motor jock, then K9 (the best), SWAT, dive team, Honor Guard, you name it. Still teach some, mostly traffic code.
