Default Lambo vs F3

is it possible to smoke a lambo with 98 f3??

the reason im asking is because on my way to work one pulled up next to me on the freeway and took off, naturally i downshifted to all the way to 2nd at about 60mph and kept up with him for few seconds before he started braking from over 100 mph do to a cop sitting on the side clocking people. i passed him since he got scared and did about 50mph past the cop. once in clear he got behind me and revved up the car (sounded sweet ). dropped it to second and took off, looked like he had a bit of trouble keeping up. since i know al the cop spots, after about 10 seconds i slowed down and that ended our little showdown.

to tell you the truth i had no idea i have so much power and speed sitting right under my ***...lol

Murciélago (2001–2005)[16] 6.2 L V12 580 PS (427 kW; 572 hp), 649 N·m (479 lb·ft) 3.5 8.3 21.4 11.7@122 mph official: 330 km/h (205 mph)

as for the f3 0-60mph 3.2sec [4]
0-100mph 7.1sec [4] Standing ¼ Mile 11.00 sec @ 124.61 mph (200.5 km/h) [2]
11.28 sec @ 120.9 mph (194.6 km/h) [3] Top Speed 156 mph (250.2 km/h)
154 mph

True, Lambo doesn't offer this sweet option yet.

Back on topic... Are you sure it was a Murcielago and not a Gallardo? Just wondering, because Gallardo's seem to be more common and I think most of them are slower (don't know enough about all the different variations they have). Still, that's a pretty sweet encounter you had. The numbers definitely say you should be able to take him, but I think you would have an even better shot if you raced one from a dig rather than a 2nd gear roll.

500hp+ hand build gallardo... I wouldn't call that slow. You would get him for under 20 secs after that you'd top out, he wouldn't. Mclaren ftw. I like the gallardo and murcialago but the best one to come from Lamborghini is the diablo....

2nd, it took him spending over 200,000 for that kind of power and you under 6,000.... Why entertain him? Back in my rookie days I would (raced a porche 911 twin turbo on my f2 north on I-35) but now I'm trying to keep my record clean. I'll save that for when it's "necessary".

Since I can't edit on the mobile site:

The murcialago is about 70-90 hp difference. Gallardo is around 520hp and the murcialago is above 572.

first, no one called it slow. those are some fast cars and if you read it carefully, i said that he would have me on the long run do to topping out. it was fun and it was short. no one needs a ticket for something stupid like that. thats why i just let go and slowed down.

i have never looked at the speedo past 130mph because im scared to, im still new to this. but a lambo next to me, i just had to do it.
i might not get another chance in a lifetime here in cleveland. lambos top out at over 200mph.im well aware that i can go just over 150. there is no way i could of won on the long run. it looked like me as well the lambo driver just wanted to see what we have. little fun for both of us. a friendly wave and we were both on our way.

i think he was trying to show off for the girl sitting next to him anyways.
