Did anyone else catch the "Shelby GT500KR" and the comment "as it will be available"

Sounds to me like the whole movie will be Ford's answer to GM's involvement in Transformers, but Ford will be taking it a step further by offering a Knight Rider edition of the Shelby Mustang.

Just speculation though...

 

Fords are lame...just my personal opinion. Pontiac should of made a special car for the movie, and then eventually release the car. Not having him in a trans-am is like putting the dukes of hazzard in a minivan. Its dumb. (yes i know someone said something like this in an earlier post, but i didnt get the honda part. lol) So since he is in a ford, are they gonna show him in the movie waiting on the side of the road for AAA and getting it towed? lol!!!

 

It's all about the cash people. Nothing happens in America unless it's paid for. The whole movie is just a Ford commercial, just like Transformers was paid for in large part by GM--I'm a car guy and watching Optimus Prime kick *** was superb, but the whole movie was just one long General Motors spot.
