Yer , the whole New Year thing is a bit weird I recon ...
As was in here ...we had it in Aus then bugger me dead, the thing sortta travels with the planet rotation to hit everyone at different times ...this I think makes the stroke of midnight (12.00) in any one place all a bit lame ..[:-]
It might be a bit different if the entire planet celebrated at the same second ... ??
As for the grabbing anyone that is within arms reach to give them the tougne at midnight, well I think thats driven by alcohol and emotions that are driven by the alcohol ..
all ok and harmless I suppose , but its not for me

)I was gonna kiss my new girlfriend, but I wasn't with her for new year, just right before it, and the timing was wrong, so I remain a new year kiss virgin, lol
