I hit a buzzard with a Cessna 172 at 3,000Ft. I saw it coming, but too late. I pulled the nose up, and clipped off his right wing with the propeller. It made a sound like a saw going thru a 2x4.
I looked out my window, and saw the buzzard flapping one wing as it spiraled out of control for a half mile towards the earth. Most awesome road kill ever.

I hit a sparrow at around 80 MPH - thought someone'd hit me in the head with a bat - noise was incredible.
Our club chairman hit a pheasant with his helmet at about the same speed - broken nose, whiplash, stitches, new helmet, etc etc. How he stayed upright, God knows......[X(]

just the other day I went over to a friend's house on my bike and on the way back at about 30mph a dog ran perpendicular to my line of travel. practically blew the brake lines trying to stop but ended up running over his tail. I was pissed so I stopped and looked for him but he ran away, goddamn rednecks and their leashless pets are gonna kill someone...30mph I know but still.
I hit a beaver once that was no kidding every bit of 80 lbs, thing was huge and ended up jarring a ball joint loose and destroying the inner fender well of my 93 z24. hit it at about 70mph with the left front wheel.
