A crushed empty soda/beer can works just as well, and easily should fit under your passenger seat. It's also a lot cheaper on your pocket book.

This is what I use... Kick Stand Pad.
Put it inside your bike's tail trunk area & it'll always be there when you need it.

Wait, did you really do that yourself or did you just find the pic?

:O

I have an old tag from when I lived in New York (Liberty plate) that I cut into a shape that snaps inside my trunk. Looks cool , Stat Liberty in the middle. Its been in service for 20+ years now I think. Always there when you need it and down here in 100+ temps, beaches and asphalt.....you better keep one handy.

I was going to suggest that there are cheaper and more durable alternatives but many beat me to it. LOL

I keep a 3"x3"piece of 1/4 hardboard handy. I'm a trim carpenter and they are easy
to make/aquire from scraps. No biggy if I forget it behind me either.

Although, the crushed aluminum can is a good, cheap solution, too.

in 15k miles an 3 years of riding that was the first time i 'needed' one

since this is the desert and the ground is normally dry and hard, parking in the dirt is often safer than asphault. however it has been raining a lot the last few weeks and the ground is soggy as hell.

oh yeah bought the bike monday picked up tuesday, bike had less than 100 miles on when i sacrificed the phone. have 6 months left on my cell contract. no caller ID isnt so bad is it?

I totally want the squirrel
Kickstand Kritter-Keeps it up when it's hot or dirty.

this is what I use, simple, sturdy, cheap, and shows that I've been on the dragon.
