Was wandering around on kawasaki's website and I saw this photo of the 14's gauges. Wouldn't it be good if instead of the kawi logo a message pops up saying "you bought a big fat turd!!" That bike is the ugliest thing around.

I have found that people who buy busa's or zx-14's don't buy them for the looks.

 

they may be faster in the straights, but ill loose them on the twisties

I have a buddy who admits he bought his Busa because it was the fastest bike he could buy. He can't even ride a 6 00 and keep up with me, let alone his Busa. He's been riding for about 3 years - me, 6 months.

He also admits now that he shoulda, "got a 1000." I'm like, dude - you need a 600 cause that liter bike is still gonna be behind me unless we hit a straight. You need to learn the fundamentals.

Oh, and the only thing uglier than a Concourse is a Busa.

 

I have a really good friend who rides a new 06 zx-14 and while his bike is not the prettiest I have ever seen the SOB is fast. Yeah he cant take twisties fast, granted I cant either on the old 'cane. Do we have a blast while riding? F**K yeah! He grew up on a 88 Ninja and wanted something within the same family. We are loyal to our Honda's, he has the respect of the same. Is it way too big of a bike in my humble opinion? oh yes.

Kinda goes back to the bike doesnt make the rider, the rider makes the bike.

The BUSA takes the 1st place trophy for the ugliest bike............the ZX-14 will have to settle for 2nd.

 

Actually I think by itself the zx14 is not a great looking bike but........... with the Corbin bags it looks nice http://www.corbin.com/kawasaki/kzx14bag.shtml ...I am looking into one for the simple fact it would be a nice bike for long rides with the wife.... sits better than the Busa......... cheaper than some of the large baggers and a bit more sporty looking.....I don't ride fast but I like to ride long. and this is the bike for it.... flame me if you want but on top of having a better seat than the busa its has a more rider friendly throttle response. being that its not as squirrely at low end. still plan on keeping the CBR for my solo city bike.

 

People that bash others for their choice in motorcycles are fools. We're all up on two wheels, quit hating and quit being so judgemental. You sound ignorant even starting a thread like this.

oh come now it's all in good fun... we're still allowed to have opinions of other motorcycles. personally I think the 14 is a ugly *** bike but then again like blindinorange said it's not that bad with the right set up. to each his own am I correc?
