well guys like the subject says, I just went down. A deer ran out infront of me when I was going about 50mph, I didn't have time to stop, move or do anything, hit it dead broadside. bike went end over end, I flew over the top and down the road about 75 feet or so. I got a few small rash spots on me but I got to come home....


Like everyone says, GEAR SAVES LIVES.....

Think god I had full gear on. if not I would most likely be at the hospital right now

 

I will get some pic's and post them of the bike tomorrow, but Its totaled.

I'm sure you'll be all sore as hell and beat up tomorrow though.

me and my buddy once hit a huge *** dear in his suv, it totaled the car and i had to go to the hospital =/ but good thing you were alright man. those things are unexpected

 

Glad your ok, sucks that it happened. Stupid deer, and people think we shouldn't hunt.

 

I unloaded six shots from a 12gauge in the deer after a friend brought me my gun, made me feel better....

but I had planned to make it into a stunter this winter anyway. I had hoped to sale my fairing to help buy a cage and stuff. but looks like that feel threw. I'm not to worried about it thou.


I have been playing with it and checking it over since I got home. I looks as if the forks my be fine, all fairings are trashed, and the sub frame for the tail is also trashed. when I turn the key nothing comes on, but I haven't be able to check any of the fuse's yet
