Apparently I give bikers a bad name. I'm riding home from dinner tonight and sitting in the left turn lane, blinker on looking in my rear view mirror and see the car pull into the turn lane then swerve out and pull up next to me. He rolls down his window and shouts "Hey I ride bikes too but you give bikers a bad name!" Mind you I'm sitting still wearing my helmet, gloves, jacket, boots and jeans so all geared up minus a 1 pc leather suit. I looked at him and said "I'm sorry you feel that way" then the light turned green so I went. I still have no idea what I possibly did to have him think that but if me riding all geared up and following the rules of the road offends you then I apologize.

He probably thought you were on a kawi with the undertail exhaust, in which case he made an honest mistake. I too think kawi riders give sportbike riders a bad name.

 

Probably the LED's all over your Gixxer......HEHEHE

 

For riding a sportbike maybe?

I'm pretty sure we've had a bad name since before you were born. It was very nice of him to try and give you credit for it, though.

 

Hes a harley rider, and they say we give them a bad name lmao. But they can run around town with loud pipes and speed just to hear it. While a sportbike gets in all the troubles. Why do Harley riders goto MotoGP if they don't like our kind, also why do they get to ride around the track, instead of the sportbikes.

 

R Dub is the guy that names all the bikers. Good to know....
