You get sad but just numb yourself. I didn't feel anything when I sold my F2. When I sell the F4i coming up here in a few years I'll feel it a tad more. I'll be selling it for a ring.

Selling my old bike was a little tough, but I was selling it purely to get something newer (and FI). It was my first bike and it definitely taught me a lot over the years I had it, ended up selling it to another first time bike owner. The downtime of having no bike was the only real hard part, once I picked up the F4i I don't miss the old ninja one bit

Yes especially since I knew it would be a while before I could get another one. I waited a whole year before i picked up my CBR and that riding season when I was bikeless was torture.

Bringing back the thread with an update:

Friday I went into the local dealership to buy some tie-downs and by the end of the day had a brand new bike... brand new, 0 miles, blue 2008 Kawasaki ZX6R... I don't miss the f3 anymore
