Default Just home from hospital

well lastnight at around 1045 i hit a deer. was going about 55 when with out warning it ran out infront. bike is totaled, ill post pics later. broke my wrist in 2 places, my collar bone, fractured my leg above then knee and collapssed a lung.

sorry 4 type-o's but using my left arm which is only one mobile and very limited..

BE CAREFUL OUT THERE GUYS/GALS.... PLEASE!

lucky i had armor on, always rode with it.

ill fill in details later when i post pics.

ps.. sucks even more since it was my b-day =(

Yea, get this. On my birthday last year i was heading to my parents house and I thought I was gonna eat the pavement. I got on the highway right off the ON-RAMP and throttled up and immediately tank slapped like a mad man. i was just waitin for the pavement to get alot closer.

WOW! My friends and I used joke about hitting deer with a bike. It's just not so funny anymore.

Never good to hear **** like this glad your in a condition to get on and type with us atleast, hope you have a speedy recovery. The bike too.

props to wearing the gear. Just think of what would have happened if you had been rothelsbergin it. Could be lot worse but it sucks hardcore nonetheless. Good luck and hope you can get back on a bike soon!

Wow, could have been worse. ( Get better soon)

I am interested in getting soe armor, but not sure what I need, please post suggestions with links to where I can buy reasonably as well. You have made me double think riding without gear a bit, I do wear full face helmet...
