I never meant to personally offend any one with my previous post. It was NOT directed at any one in particular. I do not reply to the girlfriend etc. threads (except in the one about the pregnant 17 year old girlfriend but that's it) and as far as I'm concerned it's none of my business or concern. I don't ever discuss my personal life on any forum or website anywhere, and was expressing my opinion as everyone else here has done, and again it was not meant to be offensive or personal to anyone in particular. It was a bad choice of tone and wording on my part, even though I really don't like the personal stuff online (just my opinion).

I appreciate this community and want to make sure that there are no misunderstandings as to my intentions.

While I have your attention, about reposts.

Not a repost,

1. someone posted a video 2 years ago and 2% of the people online now saw it. If I post it now where 98% have NOT seen it but you have, not a repost.

2. If it's safety related and needs to be said more than once and the search function doesn't seem to be able to find it, not a repost.

Is a repost,

1. High speed threads

2. Got a ticket and it's the dick cops fault

3. Which exhaust is the loudest

Those are the real reposts.

Thanks for listening.

X, the sooner you realise that you can't please all the people all the time, the happier you will be. This is a public, worldwide forum, people of all races, creeds, nationality, shapes and sizes - no matter what is said, we're bound to offend someone.......somewhere. We're all different - I didn't read your last post, but if I have something to say, I will say it, not to deliberately offend people, but because it's how I feel about the topic. That's why (almost) anything goes in here. Those of us who've been around awhile will all agree - at some point everyone ruffles someone's feathers.
Just don't ruffle mine, or I'll hunt you down and....................

X you're a real smart guy and most of us know it (but damn you for those FreeCreditReport commercials )...

I'm sure it's boring being so damn smart some times. One thing about that though is you have a lot more responsibility, and I feel like you maybe resent the fact that average, normal-brained people make stupid decisions and don't get chastised for it whereas an intelligent, calculated person like yourself might feel foolish making such choices. I don't know you, and please don't take offense to my proclamation because I respect you. I'm just trying to take a stab at what would only be described as poor man's psychology.

No matter what, I love the fact you stir things up around here, and I'm glad you're posting again.

X, always thought you were a cool dude and I see eye to eye with you often...I just didn't feel it was necessary to tramp all over somebody for expressing themselves. It's understandable that not everybody wants to hear that stuff, but some of us do care somewhat, even though we may not know the people posting it. I've said this before...you people are my extended family 'round here. I took it somewhat personal when you attacked the forum for opening up to other members, as it's not an easy thing to do even if it is complete strangers.

That being said, thanks for clearing things up. And as far as the flaming for reposts go, why are you taking that so personally? My flaming was just that and nothing more. Yeah, people are going to jump down your throat for reposting, mostly because the repost jpegs are hilarious, but don't be offended by them. If you're gonna dish out punched, ya gotta taken em now and then too.

First of all, nothing is personal. The repost thing is more of a running joke than anything else. None of this upsets or offends me. It's all just conversation online. I'm neck deep in server, system and network issues and deployments all day and it's nice to look at a screen that has non-important interaction associated with it.

I never battle people, I just show them their own stuff and let them react as they will, people are funny even if they are overrated for the most part *wink*.

HA...are you suggesting that I'm an overachiever?

Server, system, network issues & deployments? Where do you work? Sounds a lot like my job. I'm a government contractor working for the military.

I was the Lead Engineer for Experian, now I'm in Austin at a company with 220 remote sites in N. America.

I think we're both over-achievers.

Good stuff bro. My main position is Exchange Admin. Managing about 1400 accounts right now, and also handle infrastructure issues, LAN printing, trouble ticketing system...good times.
